Payne Stewart won 11 PGA Tour events including the 1989 PGA Championship, and the 1991 and 1999 U.S. Opens. He is most remembered for making a 15-foot par putt on #18 at the 1999 U.S. Open to win the tournament by one stroke over Phil Mickelson. Stewart's iconic fist pump after he made the putt is stamped into the brown leather tray.
